it must have been those magazines i bought 1-2 weeks back. or maybe that particular page in The Edge with that Laura Mercier lip stain thinggy. well anyway, i decided that it's time for me to be more "presentable" at work so i was thinking of a fuss-free way to put on make-up everyday when i'm still half asleep and show up at work in a more "decent" manner. well, i did wear make-up to work when i first started but after a month or so, it seemed better to spend that 15-20 minutes in bed, rather than in front of the mirror drawing my eyeliner. so more the most of my working life, i show up at work looking rather, dull.
it was not too long ago when i mentioned the fact that i do not wear make-up to work to my friend whom i shall call... miss kapak. miss kapak was so shocked and angered by this that the first thing she said after her "HUH???????!!!!!!!!" was "hou sam lei ler... RESPECT A BIT!!".
wow.
the next thing i know, i was on my way to the nearest shopping mall to get my hands on the multi-colour loose powder and the mineral make-up set. yes yes i know i already own a bottle of Laura Mercier liquid foundation and that Prescriptive loose setting powder. Not to mention the Laura Mercier primer. but but but... my mind was set on getting a powder foundation and THAT particular multi-colour loose powder because i have oily skin and my liquid foundation normally melts after 3-4 hours and takes a longer time to apply and powder is better for oily skin and my sister (and a whole lot of magazines) said the loose powder is good.
and so, i'm now left with 200 bucks in my bank account and eating kuaci for dinner *peace* and i love what i bought :)
oh, i'm still eyeing that customisable palette from bobbi brown (esp the lip quad)and a new primer from guerlain :P
