just a few updates. got back my summer result. wasn't thrilled. a bit disappointed actually but nonetheless glad that it's still not too bad. third year subject, can't expect too much i guess.
"The O.C" has ended. watched the last 2 episodes back to back on tv the other day. i'm sad that it has ended but everyone has a happy ending, so it's fine with me. i gonna miss the casts and characters. i especially liked seth, summer and julie. and taylor although she can be very annoying at times. hopefully i can watch them on another show. people keep saying season 4 sucked but well, i like the tone of it. less dramatic, more of a comedy, more space for each character.
was thinking about something for the past week; something said and done. wanted to seek the truth but have decided to keep it ambiguous. didn't want to cause any unnecessary awkwardness for the moment unless there is another more solid sign.
sort of reconciled with an old friend before CNY. it's nice talking to her after so long. let bygones be bygones. it takes two to tango, so each side is responsible for what happened. and i've learnt to let go of the past and start putting effort in my relationships. i admit i was a selfish person so now i'm starting to be more friend-like, to let my guard down. but not just to anyone though. there are still people out there whom i'd like to spend less time with, because our personalities will simply just clash and there's nothing in common. really, and i need to protect myself from these parasites and say 'No'. without feeling guilty.
uni is starting tomorrow and i'm very happy to tell everyone i don't have to attend classes on monday. or tuesday. yeah.. i'm rubbing it in. 3 days a week, with monday and tuesday OFF. muahahaha.. hopefully that'll make it easier for me to find a job. i NEED extra money for unnecesary stuff such as clothes, shoes, movies and dinner with friends. i am going to buy a trench from pilgrim. also, shopping spree in HK. can't wait. please hire me.
hooked on "Heroes". ok.. not THAT much but still... i'm watching it since "The O.C" has ended. now i'm watching "House", "Lost" and "Heroes" since "Studio 60" is off the air indefinitely right now. and probably on-and-off "Ugly Betty" on the tv.
weighed myself yday at charachelene's (hehehe) house. i lost 4kg. well, compared to the last time i weighed myself (illegally) at Big W. happy with the new figure (i mean number), but not content just yet. need to shed the meat on my cheeks. ... areas which gave me my double chin. i'm only entitled to one. my name isn't chin chin so no point having an extra. give me back my 2003 face! maybe i need stress from SPM. will self-induced stress eg kiasu-ism/freaking out for being single work? hah... crazy. but still, if u saw my(end of) 2003 face, u'll understand.
i wanna dye my hair brown. not dark/subtle brown. obvious brown, but not too extreme to be labelled as ah lian. but then i don't wanna be the victim of the dreadful black roots-brown ends case. so how? maha-confuse. pros and cons... i wanna do the things i deemed extreme now, before i end up being part of the (we take things seriously) working force. gah.... -_-"
looking forward to start cooking when the mates are back. with my pineapple tarts, smuckers goober grape and homemade (something) chips. anything else? maybe my stabilo boss original highlighter.

so now that you've seen the process, let me tell you what actually happened. sort of.
had lunch with yen after the derivatives exam. felt quite bored after coz have nothing to do so i told her what i actually planned to do for that day just for the sake of saying something irrelevant. she got very excited and convinced me to do it. told her once before and she was very supportive, i must say. the second person to not say no after px. and since we were already in melbourne central, might as well go and ask at that beauty parlour thinggy. asked for the price and a few questions about it but i was starting to chicken out and decided not to do it because of the price and also for the fact that they weren't very friendly and informative. i thought of doing it before but not REALLY doing it. not yet. so we left and stood at the side thinking about it and yen suggested another place. it was a part of a pharmacy so must be damn clean pro la.. so i said "wanna go and check it out?". "ok!"
off we went to that place. asked for more details and that girl was quite friendly coz she had it done before so she was able to share more. and it was a bit cheaper. and bla bla bla.. "ok, i'm doing it...". "yeay!!!!" (clapclapclap) asked yen to take photos for me coz i don't do this kind of thing very often...
so, if i can remember correctly (it was all quite fast), she first marked 2 dots with a marker pen (24mm apart). then clamped my nape, then poke.. poke POKE (aww aww aww), then i think she inserted the barbell (awwss....), then something something.. (ouch..sssssss) i think it was when she bent the bar. then screw the balls and TADA! 2 metal balls sticking out of my nape. :D
i was sweating a bit.. i think i flushed. the photographer was sweating as well.. yen was as excited as me..and said she felt as though she pierced her nape as well. hee hee... we left, walked around for a few minutes not knowing what we were doing, or what we've done for the past 10 minutes.. feeling ecstatic and a bit "high" a guess.. coz it all happened so fast it was a bit surreal.
so yeah, i pierced my nape. and i now i have 2 metal balls at the back of my neck. nice, eh?

i went for all the lectures, even the ones that start at 9am i went for all the tutes, even on that day with no lecture i did all my tute work (ok, except tute 8 coz i was all confused) i studied whenever i can i paid attention both in the lectures and tutes i participated in tute i prayed i enjoyed the subject i liked the lecturer i have never been so prepared for any exam in my entire uni life
i want to get H1 for it wish me luck!

checked my mail on friday and guess what i found? THIS!
it was from kenny. he asked for my address a while ago and since he told me he bought me souvenirs, this must be it! opened the box and found these: a central district magnet, 2 monkey keychains and a paper monkey
i love the magnet!! CENTRAL DISTRICT. i guess he made an effort to remember that i really wanted to work in Central. in either Two ifc, Cheung Kong Centre or HSBC. haha.
i was thinking of turning my "work place"(/lepak area) into an "office" in Central. kekeke.... a girl can dream right?? so, where should i put the magnet??? OR

confirm going to HK (and macau)!!! muahahaha... all thanks to AirAsia. going with yee leng. px can't confirm yet coz not sure about sem dates and stuff but HOPEFULLY she can make it. it is our dream to go to HK together. it's gonna be great!!! we'll roam around the city like nobody's business and do stupid things like wait outside TVB City to catch a glimpse of the actors or visit the HK coliseum even though there's no concert or go to cheung chau. hahahaha.... can't wait it. it will be so much fun!
checked the bus fare to adelaide. it's $100 for return trip. if kenny is back after CNY and before my sem start might go over to see visit and pluck apples. hahaha. and got free accommodation. :D
jacky cheung's having his world tour this year. i won't be able to make it for the malaysian and singaporean shows but he's gonna in sydney in march!! i think it'll be early march.. muahahaha. checked virgin blue. air fare to sydney for return trip is about $162. dunno about concert details yet. and whether there's free accommodation. i don't mind staying in backpacker hostel for one night. so i might attend this concert. please let me find a job after valentine's day.
woo hoo!! if everything goes well, i'll be travelling for a bit this year. keke

and hopefully more trips eg. brisbane+gold coast in sept/nov, then tasmania+new zealand and then taipei in dec.
