hello people. i just got back from a one-day tour along the great ocean road to the 12 apostles. had a fun day. great view, great weather although it was drizzling for a bit when we arrived at the 12 apostles. however, it cleared up quite fast. quite tired so i'm just gonna upload the photos with some captions/comments. back to reality now. one assignment due this friday, another one next next monday, and another one on week12. still have basic econs but i havent checked the due date yet. exam timetable is out. exams on week 1, 2 and 3, with the last 2 papers on the same day, ONE DAY AFTER MY BLOODY BIRTHDAY. but but but... i'm still quite happy with the schedule because it is quite spread out, except for the last 2 obviously. will see when to go back soon... there are other factors affecting the date of my departure (;P)

went for a tour to phillip island for the penguin parade on saturday. did other stuff along the way as well. went to a winery, a wildlife rehabilitation centre, woolamai beach and then the penguin parade. lazy to write much about it so, here's the pics.

the winery

the vineyard

ripe grapes ready for harvest

me and a wombat

tasmanian devil. likes to run around in circles.. i think it's a bit 'ngong'

my favourite koala bear. damn gaya when the fella sleeps.. like damn 'cool' only.. hehe

me feeding a wallaby (which at first i thought was a small kangaroo -_-").. damn tempted to pat its head. so bloody cute.. i want one

the nobbies

cannot take photos of the real penguins with flash so i took a photo of this sign :)
all in all, it was a fun trip. i enjoyed feeding the wallabies, but not the kangaroos. got one that's damn 7 big, as big as me.. maha scary i ran away. ooh... they also have parrots which can say "hello". the penguins were quite cute but i don't dare to touch them because they bite. and.. don't want to kacau them la since going home also was a big challenge for them after swimming in the sea finding for food the whole day. later the fella vomit out his food and die then not so nice la. but yeah, i maha like the 'cool' koala and feeding the wallaby.

just some simple pictures of the past brings back fond memories: the best times of my life. if someone were to ask me right here right now which year would i want to go to if i could travel back in time, the answer would be 2003. i think i've never enjoyed myself so much, or will ever enjoy as much fun in my in life/school life again. although i can't recall every significant or fun things that happened in 5 berlian that year, it certainly was a year that always puts a smile on my face whenever i think of it, without fail. and i have my 5 best friends who contributed in making it such a memorable and fond experience. although i barely keep in touch with most of you guys (except px; we like to bug each other for no reason at times) most of the time, i hope we can all hang out together one day in the very near future, just like how we did in class/during recess last time. it's been i think 3 years since the 6 of us had a gathering, of some sort. but please note that, i do miss you guys. my birthday this year, ok? fenny low, get ur ass back to malaysia this summer. grrr...

days when i can smile and not worry that i'll turn out being f fat/chubby in the photo. oh, ripped it off from yei yin's blog (but got alteration la), which made me going all "aww....", which then resulted in this post. pftt..

went shopping in the city and chapel street with ei-leen and edwin today. ei-leen bought a bag from
ninewest. saw a pair of heels from there but not too sure whether i should splurge or not. bought a pair of boots from
myer basement. thought it was 25% off but it actually wasn't. however, because i asked the guy first to confirm whether or not it's 25% off (got the sign there where they put the display), they had to give me the 25% off. haha. went to
tiffany & co. to check out their stuff. saw the two necklaces that i want for my 21st. but of course, i will never get it because it's gonna be more than rm10k.
anyway, the main purpose of this post is to gather opinions on which piece of clothing that i should buy, both from
supre both different price/purpose/style.

have been eye-ing it for some time. this smock top is $30. i've always wanted a square-cut smock top. however, it is see-through material so inside have to wear something eg tube/spagetti top. can be worn with jeans or shorts.

this is the result of "tangan gatal". saw something nice then simply go and try and now, want to own it. of course, just the dress, without the turtleneck top. JUST THE GREY DRESS. $50. can be worn with or without leggings. square cut also.
so HOW? anyone reading this post/blog please comment on the tagboard. click "four" on the right side. please la ok. dowan to only have feedback from px and ei-leen.
btw, this is the gorgeous flats that i really really want from
andrea & joen but i just dunno where to get it other than takashimaya in spore. and oh, can somemore pls spare me AUD196 to get it? :)

i watched 3 movies in the span of one week.
- the protege (men tu/ moon tou)
- confession of pain (shang cheng/ sheung seng)
- after this our exile (fu zhi/ fu zi)
and they're all dark/sad/melancholic movies. i shouldn't have watched all three, so close together. i am in need of some senseless comedies, or romantic movies with HAPPY endings. but all in all, i enjoyed them.
i want to elaborate more on the movies but i just dunno how/what to write. just wanna note that aaron kwok was excellent as the abusive father in ATOE. and i need to watch 'confession of pain' again to understand it a little better. "the protege" was a bit scary at times so... next time la. oh, i also like the music in "COP". and the tagline/phrase/question from "TP":
"Which is scarier; emptiness or drugs?"
"Gao ging hoong hui hoong bou, ting hai dook baan hoong bou?"

hello. just got back from easter camp yesterday. was very tired. the camp was fun fun fun! met a lot of new people, got to know God more, had lots of laughter and GREAT food :) i'm really glad that i went to this camp. thanks to everyone who made this such a great experience, esp the "Highly Esteemed Elegant Royal Easter Camp Committee Ouwee Ouwee" (HEERECCOO). u can imagine how 'siao' they are by the name.
the camp site was at waratah bay, at wilsons promontory at gippsland. about 200km away from melbourne. the place was great. the beach was just opposite the road, and at the other side was the farms, with cows. every room has its own toilet and shower cubicle. shared a room with 8 other girls. my group was Leaping Lizard Sleeping on the Wall. the names are all ridiculous. we had Char Siew Pau and Nine-headed Flying Panda and Sound of Rain on Your Roof, Pit Pat Pit Pat among others. had indonesian food for every meal. absolutely yummylicious. will definitely hunt the caterer down at caufield.
we got to make kites, had talent show, attended a few workshops (serious ones and fun ones), had a few messages, exercise in the morning (Taicho), finding for bbq food at the beach at night, games at the beach, played "sardine", had the Itchy and Scratchy show.... LOTS OF LAUGHTER, LOTS OF FUN!!! it was a really relaxing camp, not knowing what to do or what's next until they tell you either 30 minutes or 5 minutes beforehand. everyone was really friendly and kind. and funny. esp the Camp Commander (?) and his HEERECCOO crew.
i really can't summarise everything here. u'll definitely get bored reading it.
pendek kata, i'm really thankful for this experience and would love to go to more ISM activities, esp their easter camp. i'll never forget Taicho (man sui man sui man man man sui!), the POWER dance and how jessen "preserved" jeremy's wet baju by putting it in the freezer and giving it to him later as a "gift" from his Scratchy. here are some pics to share with you guys.
the beach
the lizards and our kite
yohanes (my group leader) showing the rest how to "fly a kite", as requested by wen wen
a lolly to brighten up my day, from my scratchy
our very own australian idol judges (from left: 'mark', 'marcia' and 'kyle')
my group's performance. the committee was surprised by how good our props were
amy, brenda and me during campfire
food we found on the beach which look like disgusting giant foil sausages
a gift to esther from her scratchy but it was actually on of our talent show props
best food ever!!! sambal goreng and sambal (indonesian style?)
the big message craze
family portrait. ignore the pink round thing. i have no idea what it is
this doesn't need any explanation
shiro, me, ingrid, esther and christian. the first ISMers i got to know
some of the HEERECCOO.... they like to act cool.
